What is it about Black Mirror making truly disturbing episodes? This episode may have been the most disturbing yet! I don't say that lightly because in this episode they go above and beyond in the creep factor with a very messed-up tale.      One woman's grief becomes physical. After Martha's husband Ash is killed she is offered a weird form of grief therapy. A software company that will scour through a loved one's social media and allow you to communicate with them through text messages. As time progresses, this type of communication isn't enough so the AI of her husband Ash offers something more. Being able to call and talk to the AI as if she was talking to Ash. Just as last time, the AI scours social media for her husband's voice and does a pretty good job sounding like, and responding as Ash would. In time, this too, wasn't enough. Once again, AI Ash comes to the rescue with another option. A robot of her husband, 100% anatomically correct, to be...

In this dystopian thriller, we follow Liam as he goes through his life with a device called the "grain" giving him perfect recall of everything he sees and hears. What is even more interesting is that this perfect recall isn't something that can only be experienced through one's own eyes, it can also be displayed on a TV for all to see. In one scene of the show, he is going through TSA or customs and in order to be cleared he must allow them access to a predetermined amount of time so they can check if you have been in any contact with terrorists or criminals. Not going to talk about the implications here, but you can see how this could be abused. What is interesting is how this plays out at a party that Liam and his wife are at. Liam grows suspicious of his wife's interactions with another man. After confronting his wife, and later the other man, he learns a very disturbing truth. His child may not be his. As you can imagine, this destroys Liam and sends hi...

If you have ever read " Agenda 21 " by Glenn Beck, then this may be a terrifying episode. In this dystopian thriller, the common people work for the betterment of society. It may be better stated that they work for somebody else's benefit. In this dystopian society, they are riding a stationary bike to earn digital money to be spent on digital stuff. Their living quarters are provided but everything is based on commercials designed to make you either spend money to ignore them, buy products, or watch more commercials to make you spend even more money. I couldn't even imagine living in a world like this. It is dehumanizing and demoralizing. It zaps you of everything that makes you an individual, making you nothing more than a cog in a very big machine.
